Niharika is an Urban Designer based in New York City. She shares a passion for design thinking, engagement-driven methodologies, and creating urban environments that are safe, egalitarian, and resilient. She has worked on projects that range from neighborhood planning to trans-scalar urban design interventions; from in-situ spatial developments to mobilizing public engagements that foster powerful agency through design collaborations. She strongly believes in integrating resiliency and activism with design and research, realized by local materials, community welfare, and sustainable processes to create healthy, equitable, and resilient cities.
