The children's food shop owner Naima Didi caters to the children of Karail slum. Children feel safe in this space and love coming to the shop to eat puchka and jhalmuri. The intervention caters to upgrading the shop and catering to the comfort needs of the children like, proper seating, ventilation, storage and nutritional food production. The design focuses on the comfortable new design of the shop and how it will attract more children, hence increasing Naima didi's income. Children will also have a collection of educational books (donated by the government school) and television shows for their benefit. Also by collaborating with the elders of the slum, we intended to create a symbiotic exchange of knowledge between the children and the elders. Naima Didi will make "healthy food packet" for the children with the help of a nutritionist for healthier children and less absenteeism in school.
