This is another project in the ‘Sosta’ series. Coulomb is a single unit of charge. While this charging station is aimed to generate multiple units, the presence of a single dynamo providing for all charging points, lights and other services is symbolic of that one unit of renewable energy conversion and consumption. The transit of people is always experienced as a network of movements . It smoothens the interaction with geometric surfaces and objects and introduces an organicity to geometric grids and frameworks. The charging stations are benches that are placed around the shrine like apostles in a semi-organic fashion. The energy floor forms the landscape and envelopes the shrine and the apostles also in a semi-organic way.
